THE BEST CONCERT I'VE HAD
One of the best concerts I've had was one of
Die Antwoord, in 2016, at Lollapalooza. I was a real fan of them. They are two
singers from South Africa, they make electro rap-rave music and they have a
peculiar style.
Currently I don't listen to them because one of the artists named Ninja,
was accused of sexual abuse and the other member named Yo-landi, was accused of
covering for him. When I heard that rumor, I felt sad because I really liked
them, I had posters and drawings of them on the walls of my room.
When I saw them at Lollapalooza festival it was very strange to think of
them as real people. I was in two concerts before theirs, just
to be in the first row and people push each other to see Die Antwoord from nearby.
The atmosphere of the concert was very lively, I had a great time, everyone
jumping and singing, including me. Ninja jumped into the public thrice, which
was very exciting because he fell next to me. Also, Ninja threw his pants to
the public and 3 people grabbed it, then they cut them to keep one piece each. When I got home it didn't feel real, it was an achievement for me, at the
age of 15.
It is really sad that they were involved in such obscure things. Nevertheless, a friend of mine went to that concert and told me that the atmopshere was so intense that there even was people fighting on the crowd o.o

ResponderEliminarThat seems like a really nice experience and it's annoying when artists you like end up being bad people, especially if you were such a big fan of them. But the moment is still there and it was good at the time so that is still awesome, I've never went to Lollapalooza, I should at some point.
ResponderEliminarOhhh I used to like them a lot too when I was in high school, I really liked the MV from Baby's on fire and banana brain, but I too stopped listening to them because of that accussations. Have you heard the music from Zheani? She's one of the girl who exposed them and her songs are very good
